D3.1: Water infiltration in April 2020, rear wall section, was assessed as coming from the roof so we replaced the roof, in addition to an overall revision of the waterproofing of the wall (aluminum panels horizontals fixed above the existing vertical ones; an elastomeric membrane was fixed to the same rear foundation; aluminum strips added in downward slopes on the window sills, caulking, etc.). As a result, the laundry room window sank once with a heavy rain falling diagonally.
Following the infiltration in April 2020, the roof was redone twice because the first roofer had not done the job well and caused a second infiltration at the level of the center of the roof at the height of the kitchen hoods. Everything is managed by claims adjusters from Desjardins insurance who will make the necessary repairs and checks to ensure that everything is done in good condition.
